Viewing & privacy

TikTok Story viewing and your privacy

Understand the difference between viewing without a login and a promise of invisible viewing.

TikTok Stories have a viewer list

TikTok’s Story help page explains how creators can check who viewed their Story. Do not assume that a view made through your own TikTok account is invisible.

The behavior of TikTok’s app and that of an independent tool are separate questions. A tool’s name or a “no login” label is not evidence that every kind of viewing is undetectable.

What viewing without your TikTok login means here

TikTokStory does not ask you to sign in to TikTok or provide your password or session cookies. You provide a username or supported public link, and our service requests the available content.

We do not guarantee invisible viewing or that a creator can never detect activity. You should not rely on this tool when an undetectable view is essential. The homepage and the viewing-and-privacy page use the same lookup service.

What happens to your input

Submitted text and processing results are retained in a protected diagnostic log to help investigate problems, including input that could not be recognized. Credential fields are redacted, but you should still avoid submitting sensitive information.

There is no public search-history page. Read Privacy for retention and capacity limits. “No TikTok login” does not mean that no service records are created.

Public content and clear limits

Private and login-restricted content is not supported. A failed request cannot be used to infer what a private account contains.

You can view available content on the viewing-and-privacy page. If you choose to save an item, continue to the Downloader; saving a file does not change its ownership or grant permission to reuse it.
