Start with the account’s @username
Use the username shown on the creator’s TikTok profile. A display name can be shared by several accounts; the @username identifies the account you want. You can enter it with or without the @ symbol.
You can also paste a TikTok profile link. The examples “@username” and “https://www.tiktok.com/@username” are formats: replace username with the real account handle.
Look up the account and choose Stories
A profile lookup checks current Stories and loads a page of accessible public posts. These are different kinds of content, so finding ordinary posts does not mean a Story was found.
- Enter the username or profile link in the Story Viewer and submit it.
- Check the name and handle in the returned profile.
- Choose Stories to focus on the Stories returned by this lookup. Choose Public posts to browse ordinary works instead.
- Open a photo or video to view it. Use Download for an individual item you have permission to save.
Already have a specific link?
Paste the TikTok video, photo, Story or share link, including a full share message if that is what you copied. A specific link looks up that item; it is not automatically a search for every Story from its creator.
To check the creator’s current Stories, submit their username or profile link. The viewer can also open available ordinary video and photo posts.
If no Stories appear
Read the status beside the results. “Stories could not be checked” is different from a completed lookup returning no current Stories. A network or source error does not tell us that the account has nothing to share.
Check the handle, try again later if a request is unavailable, or use a specific public link. Private or restricted content is not supported. Refreshing checks availability again; it cannot restore an expired Story.
